The Arkansas Net Metering scheme is available from all Utility companies in the state of Arkansas, with the requirements for this scheme being a residential renewable-energy systems up to 25 kilowatts (kW) in capacity or a nonresidential systems up to 300 kW in capacity are all eligible for the Arkansas net metering scheme.

Eligible technologies include solar, wind, hydroelectric, geothermal and biomass systems, as well as fuel cells and micro-turbines using renewable fuels.

There is no limit on the aggregate capacity of all net-metered systems.
